I got a groupon for the Science Center of Iowa a little while back so we decided to use it the Friday of Spring Break and go see the T-Rex Sue.  This was the first trip to the Science Center for us.  The kids had fun and even got to be on the final weather update for the channel 13 noon news.

Hawks in the NIT

This past friday night we took the whole family to see the Iowa Hawkeyes play their 2nd post season basketball game in the NIT.  We had great seats and everyone enjoyed the game.  It didnt start until 8:30 PM which would normally be bedtime but they all did great and rested on the way to Iowa City.

This year has been Hayden's first year in Cadets at our church.  That also means he got to make a car to race and show.  Actually Grandpa, my dad, did a lot of the work on this car but Hayden helped and was very happy with the results!!  Just wait Grandpa - in a few you will have two of these cars too make!
